Job Summary
Our Commercial Lines Specialist works directly with our brokers in managing and growing their existing client base. The Commercial Lines Specialist will work closely with our existing clients/prospective clients and the broker to provide exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Commercial Lines Broker in managing and growing their existing book of business by addressing client queries (by phone, email, etc.) and assisting in reviewing their existing policies and coverages.
- Liaising with underwriters/insurance companies regarding policies.
- Process/review renewals for the Commercial Lines Broker to review/deliver to clients.
- Proactively and creatively offer solutions using a diverse selection of insurance products while achieving performance targets.
- Opportunity to develop new business leads while working with the Commercial Lines Broker.
- Offer exceptional service to clients while building and managing client relationships.
- Addresses all communication in accordance with Rozon’s Service Standards.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients/underwriters/colleagues over the telephone, by email and in person.
- Detail-oriented person who is able to give their undivided attention to reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency in their work product.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively communicate complex insurance terms in a straightforward easy to understand manner.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance and to prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Commitment to continuous learning.
What Else is Important
- Ethical decision-making approach to managing your day-to-day workload and the business needs of Rozon.
- Develop and maintain a positive, professional and respectful working relationship with clients, colleagues and business partners.
- RIBO license but if you don’t, we will offer the training to get licensed.
- Client service experience (not necessarily in insurance).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook and Word) and experience with Applied Services and the EPIC system is a plus.
- Post-secondary education would be nice to have but not essential.
- Bilingual (French/English) would be considered an asset.
