Job summary

HUB International in Markham is seeking a Commercial Account Associate to support our professional liabilities accounts. You’ll work closely with Senior Team members, manage file prep, renewals, certificates, and client inquiries, while building knowledge of professional liability insurance.

Ideal candidates have a valid RIBO license (or plan to obtain), about 2+ years of commercial insurance experience, and strong organization.

Qualifications

• Valid RIBO license or willingness to obtain in short order.
• Typically, 2+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Experience in market negotiations on commercial policies is an asset.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day activities for clients and prospects including file management, renewal packages, invoices, and aged receivables.
• Timely issuance of certificates, submissions, binders, summaries, policies.
• Effective communication with clients, third parties and insurance companies.
• Managing the abeyance system and supporting Account Manager/Producers.
