Position Summary:

Responsible for efficient, effective management and development of loan and depository business from commercial relationships. Follows established policies and procedures to maximize profitability while ensuring sound credit quality and at the same time providing the highest level of customer service. Plays a role in representing the bank in the community, conducting themselves in a professional manner. Must be viewed as team player inside the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Has a good working knowledge of all bank products, services and policies.

2) Makes regular business development calls to solicit new business or grow and improve existing relationships.

3) Attends networking functions and calls on centers of influence such as accountants and attorneys to develop new business.

4) Collects and analyzes information that reflects the creditworthiness of existing and potential borrowers.

5) Establishes and negotiates terms and conditions under which credit will be extended.

6) Prepares loan requests in standardized format and presents them to the proper approval authorities.

7) Manages a smaller portfolio of less complex commercial loan relationships.

8) Reviews loan documentation for loans under management.

9) Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

1) Has been credit trained and at least an introductory level (typically less than 5-years) of relationship management experience.

2) Strong organizational, management, analytical and communication skills.

3) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
