What You Can Expect:

St Luke's is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time positions for Commercial Laundry Specialistsfor our large state of the art Laundry Facility on Federal Way in Boise!

Full-Time shifts include work on Monday/Tuesday or Friday/Saturday.

- $17+ with experience

Hours are during the day, or until all orders are filled. The facility is open Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays.

This is an extremely physical job. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and do repeating physical work on their feet all day. We have a large facility downtown that requires a strong team of production operators to ensure that all of our orders are fulfilled every day.

Tasks involve operating machinery and production line equipment. Monitoring the assembly line. Working on the production line and meeting production targets.

  • Responsibilities- Utilizing commercial grade appliances, performs routine laundry/linen tasks in accordance with established policies andprocedures.- Responsible for laundering, folding, and packing linens.- Clean and sanitize work area including machines, work tables, and sorting areas.- Responsible for the safe and proper use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions and wearing personalprotective equipment when necessary. Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure that asanitary environment is achieved at all times.- Report equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.- Handles routine questions, issues, and problems. Refers more complex issues to higher levels.- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
