Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience.
  • 2-3 years of insurance experience preferred.
  • RIBO license preferred or to be obtained upon hire.

We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink at our Sault Ste. Marie, ON office on a permanent full-time basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Servicing independent business unit accounts and writing new business
  • Providing prompt customer service, advice, and addressing concerns
  • Reviewing and processing incoming commercial paperwork
  • Assisting with quotes, policy updates, and documentation
  • Preparing insurer documentation, applications, and certificates
  • Handling endorsements, payments, and follow-ups
  • Negotiating with insurance companies and underwriters, managing claims
  • Gathering additional information for underwriters and completing applications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or post-secondary education
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • 2-3 years of insurance experience preferred
  • RIBO license preferred or to be obtained upon hire
  • EPIC experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
