We have an opening for a Commercial Insurance Advisor at our Glenmore office in Calgary, AB, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide front-line service for Commercial Lines policies, focusing on client retention and account development
• Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, handle inquiries, make care calls, process renewals
• Sell new policies, retain existing business
• Quote new business via outbound calls, letters, walk-ins
• Coordinate with Underwriters and Adjusters
• Prepare documentation, complete applications, issue certificates, process changes, review renewals
• Stay current on underwriting rules and workflows
• Participate in training and community marketing initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• High School or Post-Secondary education
• Experience in Commercial Insurance is an asset
• AIC Level I or II License
• Proficiency in EPIC, CISCO Finesse, MS Office
• Previous sales experience is an asset
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to pass criminal and credit checks
