We are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager who has a drive for excellence and experience in corporate financial strategy.

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a key role in supporting the commercial strategy of the business by providing deep analytical insights, developing tools to drive decision-making, and supporting long-term planning. This role requires a strong analytical background, financial acumen, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage a process to track and analyze low margin parts, working with the sites to develop strategies for margin improvement and to monitor progress to achieving improvements.
  • Monitor and report sales and commercial performance metrics, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead the development of a standardized pricing tool to improve consistency and competitiveness and alignment with strategic objectives across product lines.
  • Lead in the development of a standardized cost model to develop standard work across the business.
  • Conduct sales history analysis and prepare insights to support pricing, contract negotiations, and forecasting.
  • Develop standard and ad-hoc reporting documents on commercial activities in support of commercial, Executive Leadership Team and board meetings.
  • Manage 5-year revenue plan, working closely with site teams to update assumptions on an annual basis and highlight significant changes and propose new objectives to achieve the long-term objectives of the business.
  • Perform ad-hoc studies on the orderbook, contract terms, and other commercial topics to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with FAR / DFARS and audit requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA and / or CPA / CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance roles, preferably within manufacturing, aerospace and defense sectors.
  • The ability to operate within the company’s culture is characterized by hands-on teamwork with sense of urgency, mutual support, flexibility, candor, and relative absence of hierarchy.
  • Personal characteristics include high energy, ethical standards, superior communications skills (both verbal and written), superior interpersonal skills, collaborative influence style, and self-confidence.
  • Strategically minded with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
  • A willingness and ability to share information, train, and serve as a mentor.
  • A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in OLAP database for reporting, BI Tools, and manufacturing ERP systems along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
