Job description

25 - $36 per hour based on experience. Must have a MINIMUM of 3 years experience in the Commercial Door & Hardware business.

Full benefits, and yearly bonus

Monday – Friday (8 am start), guaranteed 40 -44 hours per week with overtime available

Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required

We are Siroski Door & Hardware Inc., operating since 1993, specializing in installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing swing and automatic doors and hardware for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients in Southwestern Ontario. We’re looking to add another Commercial Door Service Technician, and we hope that’s you!

Commercial Door Service Technician

As our new Commercial Door Service Technician, you will:

  1. Travel to our commercial and institutional clients to repair or install doors and door hardware.
  2. Receive your daily work assignments via our service software (phone supplied).
  3. Attend at our office to load a company vehicle with materials, tools, and parts for the day.
  4. Complete 1 to 6 service calls per day involving installation or repair of doors and hardware, and fill out work orders.
  5. Represent our company during service calls and communicate directly with clients.
  6. Install or repair hollow metal, wood, and aluminum doors and frames.
  7. Install or repair exit devices, closers, automatic doors, locks, and other accessories.
  8. Safely use hand and power tools for repairs and installations.
  9. Use your knowledge and experience to troubleshoot complex problems.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 years experience with commercial or industrial door installations, repairs, or related tasks.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, safely.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physically capable of lifting over 50 pounds.
  • Experience with electric hardware and welding is an asset.
  • Management experience is an asset.
