Job Description

Vancouver, WA based General Contractor seeking a highly motivated Project Estimator to estimate projects across multiple states (including Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois), primarily in quick service or casual dining restaurant building types. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience, excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, Blue Beam), strong communication and documentation skills, negotiating skills, and the ability to multi-task and bid on several projects simultaneously.

Periodic travel is required. Full benefits are available. We are a Drug-Free Workplace.

Requirements

• Must possess 2+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in the restaurant/food service industry.
• Ability to solicit and secure subcontractors and proposals.
• Proficient in plan reading, material take-offs, and RFI writing.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven track record of effectively dealing with owners, trade contractors, vendors, architects, engineers, city officials, and franchisors.
• Strong analytical, estimating, and negotiating skills.
• Solid computer skills using MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, MS Project, and Blue Beam.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if necessary.
• Commitment to time management and meeting deadlines.

Compensation

$75,000 - $100,000 plus bonuses, depending on skills and experience.
