Commercial Client Manager (inherited portfolio) - South East

This is a fantastic opportunity to take over a large and established commercial client portfolio due to a recent retirement. The book is made up of a wide variety of general commercial clients of varying size and technical complexity.

Our client is an established specialist insurance brokerage with big growth plans, keen to hear from individuals looking for an opportunity to play a big part in the growth of the business and to take on a more senior role going forward as the business expands.

Although they would prefer to appoint a proactive individual who is “development” focused, the immediate need is to manage an existing account worth circa £1 million GWP so it is crucial that you have excellent client servicing skills with a proven track record in client retention. There is a benefit with this role that the previous incumbent has retired, so your client portfolio will not be under attack.

As the business grows, it is anticipated that you will play a big part in the recruitment process and be involved in managing the business both on a day to day basis as well as strategically.

Ideal applicants will have:

  1. A good all round commercial insurance knowledge, preferably ACII or making progress towards.
  2. A very high level of customer service, transparency and professionalism.
