Job Scope:

1. Support the Lending team in the maintenance of the commercial loan portfolio including preparation of supporting documentation in the new application process, reviewing and renewing existing credit.
2. Assist in preparing new credit applications including data input (collateral, security, pricing, covenants, risk assessment, etc.).
3. Prepare loan amendments and annual review of credit applications.
4. Help identify problem loans, assist in minimizing loan and revenue loss.
5. Provide ongoing maintenance of credit files, liaise with the Loan Service unit, and prepare internal reports.
6. Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and experience in residential lending.
7. Other projects assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage client relationships.
2. Retain clients.
3. Provide support to superiors.

Key Qualifications:

1. University degree in business management with a focus in finance and accounting preferred.
2. Experience in general banking and/or lending function preferred.
3. Understanding of relevant Canadian regulatory requirements, commercial lending industry, and related products would be an asset.
4. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
5. Result-driven, strong communication, and organizational skills to facilitate loan administrative functions and client coordination.
6. Ability to consult, counsel, and support clients' commercial and personal financial needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
