Job summary

CAE is seeking an experienced aviation training professional to deliver technical instruction on airframe, powerplant, avionics, and operations, including Engine Ground Run simulations. You will prepare engaging classroom and virtual sessions, develop courseware, and assess learner progress, ensuring regulatory alignment and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of aviation maintenance experience.
• At least 3 years of experience on assigned aircraft platforms.
• Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent.
• Aircraft type ratings on Airbus and/or Boeing commercial aircraft (e.g., B777, B767, B787, A320, A220, A330).
• Certification in instructional techniques, adult education, or equivalent training.
• Strong knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital learning tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel globally.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in courseware development or instructional design.

Base Pay Range

Our total rewards package includes base pay and benefits, with final compensation determined by experience, skill, location, and internal equity.

Salary Band: $91,000 to $113,700 CAD
