Qualifications

We are looking for a driven Commercial Account Manager to join our growing Accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a client-centered insurance professional, who holds themselves to the highest standards and aligns their success with that of the customer.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Accounts, you will be responsible for working with our existing clients to provide insurance guidance and an unmatched customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support and effectively onboard new customers to your base of accounts.
  • Carefully review all new submissions and policy data for accuracy and handle policy changes.
  • Manage multiple clients and answer all customer queries regarding additional or existing insurance policies in a timely manner.
  • Manage the existing book of business by issuing certificates, and processing endorsements for large and complex accounts.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to fully understand their insurance requirements and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Review and advise customers on any gaps in coverage and recommend additional coverages to consider.
  • Liaison with insurance partners to create the best possible insurance packages for each client.
  • Work with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Provide meaningful client experience with each interaction.
  • Upsell and cross-sell the current book of business.
  • Process remarkets.
  • Work remotely on a regular office hours schedule in your time zone.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Hold a valid broker license for your province.
  • CIP/CAIB/CRM is an asset.
  • 1-5 years experience in insurance, commercial broking experience is an asset.
  • Passion for customer experience.
  • Persistence and agility to meet set targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time.
