Description

Our client is seeking a Commercial Account Manager/Marketer to join their team in Surrey! The ideal candidate must have Level 2 General Insurance License and at least 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.

Location: Surrey, BC (On-site/Hybrid)

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with team to provide extraordinary client service and aim to achieve maximum policy retention on all new and renewal business.
• Ensure that all client services documents are prepared in a timely fashion.
• Review policy documents and/or quotes and identify coverage gaps, cross-selling other lines of business when needed.
• Market and negotiate both new and renewal business by developing and fostering excellent relationships with Insurers to ensure negotiation of the best terms for clients.
• Assist with developing innovative marketing solutions for tough placement risks.
• Stay current on new products, coverage, and market trends by attending seminars and reading relevant materials.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines roles.
• Prior construction account experience is an asset.
• Must have Level 2 General Insurance License.
• Team player with strong communication and management skills.
