Commercial Account Manager/Marketer

Our client is seeking a Commercial Account Manager/Market to join their team in Surrey! The ideal candidate must have Level 2 General Insurance License and at least 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.

Location: Surrey, BC (On-site/Hybrid)

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with team to provide extraordinary client service and aim to achieve maximum policy retention on all new and renewal business
• Ensure that all client services documents are prepared and in a timely fashion
• Review policy documents and/or quotes and identify coverage gaps and cross sell other lines of business when needed
• Market and negotiate both new and renewal business by developing and fostering excellent relationships with Insurers to ensure negotiation of best terms for clients
• Assist with developing innovative marketing solutions for tough placement risks
• Be current on new products, coverage, and market trends by attending seminars and reading relevant written material

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines roles
• Prior construction account experience is an asset
• Must have Level 2 General Insurance License
• Team player with strong communication and management skills

Education Required:

• CIP
• CIP Partial Completion
• Insurance License Level II
