Commercial Account Manager / Executive – Southend on Sea

Our client is a dynamic independent insurance brokerage, currently experiencing an exciting period of growth which has opened up a lot of exciting career opportunities.

This is a commercial broking / client manager role, essentially a desk based account executive position which is anticipated to evolve into a full client facing account executive role over the next 12 to 18 months and could provide an excellent career opportunity to an ambitious commercial broker / account handler.

You will be managing your own portfolio of mid-sized commercial clients; a diverse book of business includes clients from across a wide range of commercial sectors, primarily non-motor risks. There will be a lot of client and insurer contact so it’s essential that you enjoy the communication element of the role.

You will be quoting on cases, managing existing clients, making amendments and marketing and negotiating renewals so it is important that you are well organised and have good attention to detail and a good all round commercial insurance knowledge (progress towards CII studies would be preferred and will be fully supported).

Our client is moving to Acturis shortly, so previous experience on the Acturis system would be fantastic but is not a prerequisite.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary, full benefits and a great bonus scheme. This role can be office based or part home / part office based. Our client is more than happy to provide flexible working.
