We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Barrie, ON on a Permanent FT basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for quoting and binding new business
• Source and obtain additional information from underwriters
• Provide prompt customer service and advice
• Assist with quotes, prepare coverage comparisons, and update customer files
• Process new business, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations
• Follow up on payments and manage accounts receivables
• Receive and process commercial paperwork
• Prepare documentation for insurers and complete applications
• Communicate with insurance companies and negotiate renewal terms
• Prepare new loss notices and follow up on claims status

Requirements

• High school and/or post-secondary education
• 3 years of commercial insurance experience preferred
• RIBO licensed
• MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Teams
• Strong customer focus and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exposure to Epic is an asset
• Previous sales experience is an asset
• Ability to pass a criminal and credit check
