As a Commercial Account Manager, you will interact with commercial clients, maintain professional business relationships with new and existing clients and insurers, and manage an entire book of business. Your responsibilities include reviewing and preparing client files, leading marketing efforts, and evaluating and pricing the insured’s risk.

A day in the life -

  • Provide exceptional client care as the primary client service contact.
  • Respond to client requests directly or indirectly from senior team members, compiling information, submitting to insurance companies, and binding coverage where appropriate.
  • Participate in formal account reviews, assisting in account rounding, and working diligently to provide value-added services.
  • Prepare submissions in Policy Works and EPIC.
  • Prepare proposals, cover notes, client correspondence, certificates, and invoices per agency standards.
  • Assist account teams with various administrative functions.
  • Review and prioritize all tasks daily, including mail, emails, and activities.
  • Maintain accuracy of electronic and physical files as per agency standards.
  • Manage marketing of accounts, including new, renewal, and midterm changes.
  • Collect data, create expert submissions, negotiate rates and coverages, and bind coverage.
  • Provide training and guidance to new Insurance Advisors.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Salary Expectations –

The expected salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, influenced by skills, experience, location, and specific role factors. HUB offers comprehensive benefits, including health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid time off, bonuses, and commissions where applicable.
