Flexible work options are available, subject to an approved telework agreement; Hybrid work is available for employees residing within the Vancouver, Coast and Mountains (VCM) region and enables employees to telework from their home up to 3 days a week with in office days on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Coordinator, Creative (Copywriting) is responsible for the development, production and management of creative assets to ensure a consistent expression of the Super, Natural British Columbia family of brands and the Destination British Columbia tourism industry brand.
Reporting to the Specialist, Creative, they play a crucial role in meeting the creative needs of the global marketing campaigns, across both owned and earned channels, ensuring all outputs are on-strategy, on-brand, and on-deadline. They are a creative thinker with strong writing and communication skills, who excel at copywriting and curating visual content. Their experience spans various digital platforms, with a solid understanding of copy for email, social media, and web channels.
The Coordinator, Creative helps shape and execute Destination BC’s creative strategy and editorial plan, ensuring that all content is consistent, accurate, and aligned with the performance metrics of our brand marketing activities. Organized, collaborative, and proactive, they provide essential project planning and management support across a variety of creative initiatives. This includes supporting the creation and delivery of project and creative briefs, assisting with the management of creative suppliers like photographers, writers, and videographers, and developing new creative assets for Destination BC and its tourism partners. Their proactive approach allows them to identify and implement improvements in creative processes, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of creative planning, production, and publishing. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality enables them to deliver outstanding results, whether working as part of a team or independently, in a fast-paced environment.
