Qualifications

• Engineering Technology Diploma or related trades certification.
• Class A Gasfitter certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with burners, combustion controls, boiler systems, or industrial process equipment.
• Ability to read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical writing skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments and pass safety testing.

Responsibilities

• Commission, start up, and troubleshoot burners, boilers, heaters, and other fired equipment.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Support project execution, commissioning plans, reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist with installation, FAT, and mechanical assembly activities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, controls, and combustion system issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and project teams.
• Support maintenance and repair of valves, transmitters, analyzers, VFDs, and other process control equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry codes and standards.

Field Service & Commissioning Technologist

Join our team as a Field Service & Commissioning Technologist , supporting the installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of industrial combustion systems and related process equipment. This hands‑on role offers extensive field exposure, customer interaction, and opportunities for technical growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission, start up, and troubleshoot burners, boilers, heaters, and other fired equipment.


• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.


• Support project execution, commissioning plans, reports, and technical documentation.


• Assist with installation, testing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and mechanical assembly activities.


• Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, controls, and combustion system issues.


• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and project teams.


• Support maintenance and repair of valves, transmitters, analyzers, VFDs, and other process control equipment.


• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology Diploma (Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline) or relevant Trades Certification.


• Class A Gasfitter certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.


• Experience with burners, combustion controls, boiler systems, power generation, or industrial process equipment is an asset.


• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring schematics, and technical drawings.


• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and technical writing skills.


• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and in the field.


• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.


• Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments and participate in site‑required Drug & Alcohol testing.
