A leading health authority is seeking a Laboratory Combined Technologist responsible for performing various imaging procedures, managing patient care, and conducting laboratory tests. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized laboratory technician program, relevant experience, and strong problem-solving skills. This role requires effective communication and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/Medical Radiography Technician Program.
  • One (1) year recent related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Capable of operating related equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and completing requisitions, forms, and reports.
  • Performing general imaging procedures and routine Laboratory and ECG testing.
  • Monitoring patients and managing supplies and equipment.

Job description

Reporting to the Supervisor or designate, the Laboratory Combined Technologist is responsible for receiving and completing requisitions, forms, and reports; monitoring patients; performing general imaging procedures, including archiving images; conducting routine Laboratory and ECG testing; utilizing computerized patient data systems; and managing supplies and equipment.

Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience
  • Graduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/Medical Radiography Technician Program.
  • One (1) year recent related experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
