Company 3’s Colour Assistant role sits within the Picture team in Toronto, supporting colourists across the grading workflow from ingest to delivery. Candidates should be detail-oriented, well organized, and able to communicate effectively with producers, colourists and operations.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with common file formats.
• Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support colourists in supervised client sessions, following direction from Colourists/Production Management.
• Colour-trace project updates across versions and ensure elements present (drop-ins, mattes, conform references).
• Prepare colour suites ahead of session start times according to project requirements.
• Track and complete tasks in project management software daily.
• Create and maintain centralized workflow documentation.
• Stay informed on emerging software and colour grading techniques.
