Centennial Auto Group in Saint John, NB is seeking a motivated Collision Technician to restore collision-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards. The role involves structural and body repairs, inspecting finished work, and collaborating with estimators, painters, and production staff to ensure top quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair experience is an asset; Red Seal Certification is considered a strong asset
• Strong knowledge of collision repair techniques, vehicle construction, and repair procedures
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the position, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting as required
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Restoring collision-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards
• Reviewing repair plans and determining the most effective repair approach
• Repairing or replacing damaged body panels, structural components, frames, glass, and interior components
• Preparing vehicle surfaces for refinishing through sanding, grinding, masking, and related repair procedures
• Operating specialized collision repair equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspecting completed repairs to ensure quality, safety, and proper vehicle operation
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborating with estimators, painters, and production staff to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
