Job summary

Barber Motors Collision Centre in Weyburn, SK is seeking a Journeyman Collision Technician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our permanent, full-time team. Read orders, repair to manufacturer standards, disassemble/reassemble, and replace interior and exterior components as needed.

Qualifications

• Read & interpret work orders & repair procedures.
• Repair collision-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels, & grilles.
• Assist with vehicle disassembly & reassembly.
• Replace interior, front-end, & underbody components.
• Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Read & interpret work orders & repair procedures.
• Repair collision-damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels, & grilles.
• Assist with vehicle disassembly & reassembly.
• Replace interior, front-end, & underbody components.
• Repair dents using blocks, hammers, & dent removal tools.
• Grind & sand body surfaces in preparation for repair and refinishing.
• Replace & repair windshields.
• Perform basic automotive maintenance tasks as required.
• Perform detailed interior & exterior vehicle cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, & safe work environment.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
