What To Expect
Tesla Collision is seeking an energetic professional with a proven record of managing people and processes to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. The Collision Center Supervisor leads our collision shop floor teams, responsible for guiding technicians and ensuring operational efficiency and high-quality service in our collision centers. This role requires a clear understanding of production systems and collision shop workflows, utilizing critical thinking and root cause analysis.

What You'll Do

  1. Provide effective supervision and coaching to technical employees to meet quality and service goals. Maintain shop records and inventories. Manage workflow through the collision center.
  2. Serve as the process leader for shop activities, defining and improving work standards with input from technicians and the team. Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team of technicians.
  3. Ensure work standards and procedures are current and compliant, maintaining maximum quality. Monitor safety regulations adherence within the collision center.
  4. Resolve technical and personnel issues with employees. Schedule staff to meet repair needs and manage time off according to company policies.
  5. Select team members and coordinate their training. Conduct regular developmental meetings and monitor individual training needs.
  6. Maintain daily communication to align team efforts. Communicate issues affecting the service center and organization.
  7. Partner with the Collision Manager to scale and grow shop production in line with company targets. Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

What You'll Bring

  1. 7-10 years of collision technical experience preferred.
  2. Prior leadership experience in a collision-focused industry is preferred.
  3. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and lead root cause problem-solving activities.
  4. Effective interaction with customers as needed.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and understanding of repair estimates.
  7. Valid driver's license preferred.
