The Senior Credit & Collections Specialist will use creative thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex disputes. This role involves managing a portfolio of customers in Quebec, requiring excellent French language skills.

This position is on a hybrid schedule (3 days/week) based out of our North Olmsted, Ohio location.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the collection efforts for specific accounts receivable portfolios.
  2. Process credits related to authorized programs and billing discrepancies.
  3. Identify unwarranted customer patterns and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues.
  4. Maintain credit history files.
  5. Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts.
  6. Review orders on credit hold and recommend appropriate actions.
  7. Analyze system data to improve Accounts Receivable metrics.
  8. Assist the Director of Credit and Collections with various projects.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking French, preferably French Canadian.
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance and/or credit experience.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
