Job Description - Collections Specialist
About the Role As a Collections Specialist in Jamaica, you will manage outbound communications to customers with past due accounts. You will negotiate payment plans, respond to inquiries, and process invoices and dispute submissions through our client’s platform. This role is vital to maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Main duties and responsibilities of the collections specialist in Jamaica:- Contact customers via phone and email to collect delinquent accounts on behalf of the client
- Negotiate payment terms and methods with customers when the right party is reached
- Respond professionally to customer queries and take appropriate follow-up actions
- Submit invoice and dispute documentation through the client’s portal
- Always ensure compliance with FDCPA regulations
- Conduct follow-ups with customers via email to ensure account resolution
Job Requirements - Collections Specialist
Skills and experience required for the bilingual collections specialist to thrive in their role in Fusion CX Jamaica:- Minimum of 6 months of collections experience in a similar role
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Excellent communication skills
