What will you do?

  • Responsible for recovering funds on past due accounts.
  • Successfully negotiate appropriate payment arrangement terms with customers.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships in order to increase customer retention.
  • Work with customers to resolve disputes and complaints within company guidelines, while providing excellent customer service.
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer records in the billing system.
  • Process adjustments and update customer information as required.
  • Responsible for departmental objectives for amounts recovered, call quality, and productivity.
  • Demonstrate initiative in problem solving and in working with other departments within the organization.
  • Responsible for achieving all standard department KPIs, including quality, average handle time, promoting paperless billing, and preauthorized credit card payments.

What do you bring?

  • Minimum 1-year experience in collections or a call center environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsive and easily adaptable to change.
  • Stronger than intermediate computer literacy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook.
  • Team player who is goal oriented, objective driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency/proficiency in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in French translation would be an asset.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours Monday to Friday within the hours of 8:00am to 8:00pm.
