Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct support for the booking and settlement of collaterals by being proficient in the supporting systems. These include GV Collat, COMET, DRACCAR, as well as front office systems such as Orchestrade, Murex FCO, and Helix. Reconciliations of portfolios are necessary in case of discrepancies with counterparties, and MTM reporting must be submitted.

Main tasks of the team:

  1. Margin call management
  2. • Notification, confirmation, and booking of margin calls (in GVC for Repos and OTC derivatives in Comet) (NY time zone)
  3. • Reconciliation of portfolios (Repo & Securities Lending) in case of margin call discrepancies
  4. • Coordination of booking, payments, and settlement with MOs and BOs
  5. • Monitoring unsettled collateral flows
  6. • Investigating accounting discrepancies
  1. Control and reconciliations
  2. • Controls on margin calls: notices exchanged, amounts booked in GVC/Comet, stock reconciliation on repo margins
  3. • Follow-up in TriOptima or manual reconciliations for collateralized and non-collateralized counterparties (EMIR) – OTC derivatives
  4. • Investigation of significant MTM variations, with escalation if necessary
  5. • Setting up (creation or modification) of contracts in GVC/Draccar based on agreement terms for repos and derivatives
  6. • Daily reporting on discrepancies and disputes
  1. MTM Client
  2. • Producing MTM client reports and other reports for NY time zone counterparties (daily, weekly, or monthly)
  3. • Monitoring DFA daily marks (checking and reviewing new reports)
  4. • Managing audit requests
  1. Projects, processes, and procedures
  2. • Participating in project development with Paris teams, including UAT
  3. • Maintaining, improving, and developing activities
  4. • Formalizing processes and documenting procedures
  1. Transversal activities
  2. • Activity reporting (internal KPIs, KRIs, and external reports to regulators or market surveys)
  3. • Contributing to ePCC and incident reporting processes
  4. • Supporting business development by providing analysis in NAP and participating in UAT for system upgrades and new products

Reports to the Head of Collateral Team

Clients' collateral departments (Banks, Hedge Funds, Insurances, Corporates)
