Position Overview

A day in the life of a Starbucks Barista: Working as a Starbucks Barista offers an opportunity to provide personalized service, become a coffee and tea expert, and enhance your customer service skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

• No previous experience required

Key Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards, and policies
• Greets customers politely and warmly
• Demonstrates superior customer service in line with Safeway’s programs
• Processes payments via cash, cheque, credit card, gift card, and debit
• Prepares hot and cold beverages, including specialty drinks
• Stocks and orders products
• Performs light cleaning duties as assigned
