Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Coffee Bar Clerk at our UBC location in Vancouver, BC. You will provide quality beverages, follow recipes, operate the cash register, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked coffee bar for our customers.

We seek a friendly, customer-focused individual with a passion for great food and service, offering weekly pay and benefits to support growth within a community-focused retailer.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle a cash register and operate basic equipment.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality beverages and products at the on-site coffee bar.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards for beverages and food.
• Operate a cash register and assist customers.
• Maintain department stock and presentation, ensuring freshness.
• Handle customer service inquiries and create a positive experience.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Working at our on-site coffee bar providing quality beverages and products.
• Following recipe and presentation standards for all beverages and food products.
• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

Requirements

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.

• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).

Compensation Details: $18.25 - $21.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
