About This Opportunity
Coke Canada Bottling Sales Development Managers (SDM) are field sales representatives tasked with identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities with a wide range of customers, including Grocery stores, Mass Merchandisers, Convenience & Gas stores, Restaurants & Bars, and other Food Service / On Premise establishments. The SDM's primary goal is to drive profitable sales by deeply understanding the diverse channels and Coke Canada's beverage portfolio. The SDM plays a critical role in helping us achieve this goal, in many cases they will be the first point of contact for our customers. Developing strong, collaborative partnerships will be a priority.

Additionally, the SDM will play a pivotal role in expanding the customer base and driving business growth within their designated territory.

Responsibilities

  1. Successfully sell customer promotional plans, incremental displays and equipment placements that include annual Customer Marketing Agreements and align with the customer's and the Coke Canada system’s business objectives and strategies.
  2. Evaluate outlet opportunities for new and existing Large Store customers.
  3. Develop a customized business plan addressing the critical needs of the customer(s).
  4. Work collaboratively with the merchandising Supervisors and order replenishment team to ensure that revenue and profit goals are achieved, and that appropriate inventory levels and merchandising standards are maintained at each store.
  5. Ensure a high level of customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  6. Sell in promotional programs and ensure dealer compliance.
  7. Execute channel and customer promotions/programs that leverage national brand strategies.
  8. Proactively arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities.
  9. Build or modify displays, sections, end caps, racks & coolers in line with Coke Canada Bottling’s standards and programs.
  10. Be able to lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance.

Qualifications

  1. Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
  2. Post-Secondary education, preferably in business related field or sufficient business experience in a similar role.
  3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales role preferable in consumer goods industry.
  4. Experience in direct store delivery sales and major account management an asset.
  5. Customer service oriented with the ability to handle multiple customer accounts.
  6. Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  7. Proficient using a variety of computer programs.
  8. Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
  9. Must have current vehicle liability insurance.
  10. Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
