Job description

POSITION: Coach Cleaner - Summer Student
DEPARTMENT: Rail Mechanical
LOCATION: Moosonee
REFERENCE: 300-09-26
SALARY: $17.75/hour

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cleaning/washing of coaches, parts and shop facilities
  • Follows prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipment
  • Janitorial duties as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Summer Term: May to August (4 months)
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preference given to students enrolled in a full-time post-secondary program or entering full-time post-secondary studies in September 2025
  • Must be able to work full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • Ability to work shift work and weekends (24-hour operations)
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Works independently with little supervision
  • Previous cleaning/labour experience an asset
  • Must be committed to Health and Safety
