Job summary

Nutrien invites applications for a Co-op Student role in the Transportation and Distribution Commercial team at our Calgary corporate office. The 4-8 month term is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position for a current student who will return to studies after the work term.

You will support master data cleanup for the rail fleet, conduct monthly budget reviews, and assist in data-driven decision support using Power BI and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Business, Commerce, or equivalent degree.
• Must be a returning student with a graduation date no earlier than August 2026.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience working with SAP, MSS, Oracle & HANA would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to clean up master data for entire rail fleet.
• Provide analytical support through monthly budget reviews.
• Assist Senior Analysts and Managers in preparing and executing on metrics and data-driven decision support.
• Support in analysis of Rail Fleet 5-year planning.
• Set up purchase orders for Rail Fleet when necessary.
• Assist in reporting and presentations in Power BI and MS PowerPoint.
• Assist with analysis for contract negotiation.
• Identify and support process and continuous improvement initiatives.
