Co-op Student - Business Systems Analyst, IT FinOps

Manager, IT FinOps

Temporary Full-Time, Four (4) Month Contract

Work Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON, a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement, and some roles may require more in-office days.

As a Co-op - Business Systems Analyst, IT FinOps, you will be part of an amazing team responsible for designing and optimizing enterprise IT financial operations such as financial, asset, vendor, and procurement processes. This role will oversee vendor and procurement processes across the organization and will have direct accountability for the systems and platforms to deliver the expected process outcomes.

What you will be doing:

• Support daily purchasing and procurement operations, including purchase order & invoice processing, subscription/license management, and new vendor onboarding.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards for key IT financial, asset, and enterprise vendor information.
• Participate in audit and compliance processes related to vendors and assets.
• Assist with expense/budget tracking, variance analysis, reconciliation, and forecasting activities.
• Work with technologies including Microsoft 365 (Copilot AI, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform) and ServiceNow.
