Your Role:

We are looking for a Software Development Co-Op student to join our Engineering Projects team in Halifax, NS.This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on development experience with focus on best practices.If you are energetic and want to learn, we would love to have you on our team!

Your Job:

• Work as part of a small team to write Python code for internal tooling
• Write unit tests for your Python code
• Collaborate on system designs with your Sr. Architect and members of the Global Relay Dev Teams
• Help triage issues with other engineering teams

About You:

• Experience with Python in a course or work environment
• CGPA of B- or higher
• Side projects that demonstrate your skills
• Understanding of current development methodologies
• Experience with any of:
  • SonarQube
  • Artifactory
  • Bitbucket, Confluence & JIRA
  • Team player with good communication skills, both oral and written
