Qualifications

• Hands-on experience or mechanical aptitude, preferably with precision systems.
• Experience with Python, object oriented programming, and data analysis.
• Currently enrolled in a degree or diploma program.
• A degree in mechanical, mechatronics engineering, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Gain a fundamental understanding of motion control systems through diagnosing problems with production and prototype devices.
• Investigate sources of error in test systems and implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate them.
• Design, improve, and manufacture new test jigs when necessary.
• Write Python scripts to automate tests and use data analysis tools to convey important conclusions.
• Create test plans, run tests, analyze results, write reports, and collaborate with designers/developers to ensure data is captured.
