What is the Opportunity:

As the Jr. Claims Analyst Co-op, you will be supporting the processing, evaluation and resolution of insurance claims, working closely with the broader Insurance and Loss team.

What You’ll Do Here:

• Review and input claim information into systems for tracking and analysis
• Analyze claims data and summarize into comprehensive reports
• Maintain detailed records of claims and correspondence
• Document management ensuring files are uploaded and stored appropriately
• Providing overall support to the Insurance & Loss control team by assisting with insurance renewals, contract reviews and certificate issuance etc.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and initiatives

What You Bring to the Team:

• Post secondary education in Business, Finance, or related field
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to details, working with both speed and accuracy
• Analytical, interpretive and organizational skills
• Proactive and willingness to learn
