Job summary

Kinaxis in Canada is seeking a curious, organized student to join the Analyst Relations team. You’ll support day-to-day AR operations and gain experience across market intelligence, analyst research, and technology study.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams, learn to synthesize insights, and explore AI applications in research. This 8- or 12-month co-op/intern role starts January 2027 and offers remote work for most Canadian locations, with in-office required in Ottawa/Toronto.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in the 3rd year or recently graduated from a Marketing, Market research, Business, Communications, or related program.
  • Strong written communication, research and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with information from multiple sources and turning it into clear, concise insights.
  • Naturally curious and interested in technology, markets and business strategy.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys learning.
  • Comfortable collaborating with people across different teams, functions and levels.
  • Interested in learning how AI tools can be applied to research, analysis and business workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and synthesize insights from analyst briefings, inquiries and research.
  • Help identify important analyst, market and competitive trends and translate them into useful insights for the business.
  • Support major industry analyst research and evaluations, including Gartner, Forrester, IDC and other firms.
  • Maintain analyst interaction and relationship information within our AR platform.
  • Research analysts, market perspectives and competitive context to help prepare for analyst meetings and events.
  • Support Share of Voice, analyst sentiment and other AR reporting and measurement.
  • Track upcoming analyst research, evaluations and engagement opportunities.
  • Help prepare briefing materials and pre-event guides for Kinaxis executives and subject matter experts.
  • Support analyst engagement at major Kinaxis and industry events.
  • Contribute to an AI-focused capstone project designed to improve how the AR team captures, organizes and uses analyst intelligence.

About The Team

We’re looking for a curious, organized and analytical student to join the Kinaxis Analyst Relations team. Analyst Relations works with leading industry research and advisory firms to help build awareness and understanding of Kinaxis, while bringing important market perspectives and analyst insights back into the business. As part of a fast‑paced, global Marketing team, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working across Analyst Relations, market and competitive intelligence, and technology research. You’ll have exposure to teams across Marketing, Product, Strategy and other areas of the business while learning how analyst insights can help inform company strategy, market positioning and decision‑making.

Location

If in Ottawa or Toronto, you must be in the office at least three days a week. Other Canadian Locations – REMOTE

Term Duration

This is a full‑time, 8 or 12‑month position, starting January 2027.

Co‑op / Intern Eligibility

This position is open to co‑ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full‑time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Compensation range

$19.46 - $28.55 hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in the 3rd or last year or recently graduated from a Marketing, Market research, Business, Communications, or related program
  • Strong written communication, research and analytical skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with information from multiple sources and turning it into clear, concise insights
  • Naturally curious and interested in technology, markets and business strategy
  • A self‑starter who takes initiative and enjoys learning
  • Comfortable collaborating with people across different teams, functions and levels
  • Interested in learning how AI tools can be applied to research, analysis and business workflows
Things that would definitely help
  • Previous internship, co‑op or project experience in Marketing, Communications, Research, Competitive Intelligence, Market Intelligence or a related area
  • Experience using AI tools for research, analysis or productivity
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology, SaaS or supply chain concepts
  • Experience working with research, data, or reporting
