Kinaxis in Ottawa is seeking highly motivated interns for the Forward Deployed team to tackle real business problems, analyze data, and design solutions that improve processes for customers.

You will gain hands-on experience in analytics, solution design, deployment, and workshops, collaborating with teams and contributing to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes curiosity, ownership, and delivering actionable outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong ownership and bias toward action.
• Curious and eager to learn.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and open-ended problems.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting or projects via coursework/internships.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, C++ or other coding language.
• Interest in AI, digital transformation or orchestration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• 3+ years Postgraduate degree in relevant fields.
• Demonstrated leadership in student orgs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with solution testing, documentation, research and training materials.
• Support building and testing tailored technical solutions.
• Gather, organize and analyze business data to identify gaps.
• Create reports, presentations and dashboards to communicate outcomes.
• Participate in workshops to understand customer needs.
• Document lessons learned and develop reusable best practices.
