Kinaxis Inc. in Ottawa is seeking motivated co-op/interns to tackle real-world supply chain challenges alongside the Forward Deployed team.

You will analyze data, design solutions, and support customer adoption while gaining exposure to analytics, solution design and deployment. As part of the role, you will create reports and dashboards, participate in workshops, and help develop reusable best practices assets.

About the team

We are looking for highly motivated interns who are excited to solve complex business problems, collaborate with teams working directly with customers, and help organizations adopt new ways of working.

As a member of the Forward Deployed team, you will work alongside teams to understand business challenges, analyze data, design solutions to improve processes, and support the implementation of innovative solutions. You will gain exposure to customer transformation initiatives while developing skills in analytics, solution design and deployment, consulting and problem solving.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments, are curious to test new technologies, learn quickly, and turn ideas into action.

Location

You must be in the Ottawa or Toronto offices at least three days a week.

Term Duration

This is a full-time, 8 or 12-month position, starting Month Year.

Co-op / Intern Eligibility

This position is open to co-ops and interns. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.

Compensation range

$27.04 - $39.66 hourly rate. The final offer within this range will reflect the candidate’s skills, year of education, and experience.

What you will do

• Assist with solution testing, documentation, research, training materials, and customer adoption activities.
• Support building and testing tailored technical solutions to solve complex customer problems.
• Gather, organize, and analyze business data leveraging different tools to help teams identify data quality and gaps, better understand business challenges and identify creative opportunities of improvement.
• Create reports, presentations, dashboards to communicate project outcomes.
• Participate in workshops and discovery sessions to understand customer needs.
• Document lessons learned and help develop reusable best practices assets.
• Contribute to multiple projects while effectively managing competing priorities.

What we are looking for

• Strong sense of ownership and bias toward action.

• Comfortable working through ambiguity and solving open-ended problems.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Exposure to data analysis, research, reporting, or project work through coursework, internships, or extracurricular activities.
• Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, or other business productivity tools.
• Experience in SQL, Python, C++ or any other coding language.
• Interest in emerging technologies, AI, digital transformation, or operational excellence and orchestration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with a desire to create meaningful outcomes.
• Completed 3+ years of a post graduate degree in Business Analytics/Economics or Software Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics.
• Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, volunteer work, athletics, research, or community involvement.
