Job summary

A leading construction firm in Canada is seeking a Student Field Coordinator to assist with project management tasks at construction sites. The role requires enrollment in a college or university co-op program and availability for a 12-month contract from September 2025 to August 2026. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, taking photographs, and assisting with site supervision and scheduling. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university co-op or internship program.
• Available for a 12-month contract from September 2025 to August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Use company’s Project Management software on all sites.
• Review shop drawings and issue to subcontractors.
• Take progress and condition photographs.
• Assist Superintendents with drawing reviews and quantity take-offs.
• Perform workforce counts.
• Assist field engineers with surveying, layout, and quantity surveying tasks.
• Follow up on deficiency lists.
• Coordinate scheduling with subcontractors.
• Provide general site supervision assistance.
