A leading defense contractor seeks an Engineering Support Service (ESS) intern to aid in the development of crucial documentation for the Land Command Support System. This role involves creating user-facing training materials and working within an Agile team to support Canadian Armed Forces operations. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and technical knowledge, be enrolled in an engineering or technical writing program, and possess a strong desire to learn.
We are seeking an Engineering Support Service (ESS) coop to join the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team and support the development and delivery of userfacing documentation and training for the Land Command Support System (LCSS).
The LCSS provides the Canadian Armed Forces with missioncritical command and control communications capabilities. A highly integrated tactical system composed of communication networking and information management subsystems LCSS is part of every Canadian Army vehicle weapon platform and headquarters; comprising hardware firmware and software.
The documentation and training produced by the ILS team is essential helping the CAF to understand operate and optimize the use of the system in the field.
As an ILS coop your responsibilities and range of activities may vary but you can expect to :
