Job summary

RVA is seeking a student for an 8 or 12 month co-op position in our Water discipline, starting January 2027. You will review work, coordinate QA checks, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on construction challenges.

Responsibilities include monitoring work, reviewing contractor payments, handling submittals and deadlines, and other duties as assigned. Prioritize communication and site safety during a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year engineer student at an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrates superior communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a valid G Class Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
• Must be comfortable with construction site work.

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is: $25-$30/hour

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
