Amgen British Columbia, located in Burnaby, is seeking an Undergraduate Co‑op Student – Business Analyst to support operational analytics and dashboard tools. You will learn to transform datasets and deliver data-driven insights to inform research and business decisions.

Join a collaborative team focused on data analytics, Excel and Power BI, with opportunities to contribute across research and operations during an 8-month program starting January 4, 2027.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program with a 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Completed one year of study prior to the internship.
• Not employed at the start of internship.
• Preferred: Commerce, Business Analytics, Science & Business, or related.
• Able to commit to two consecutive four-month terms (8 months).
• Experience with Excel and BI tools; Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, validate, and transform operational datasets for analysis and visualization.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and insights.
• Translate business questions into practical data outputs and clear visualizations.
• Document data sources, assumptions, dashboard logic, and user guidance to support long-term usability.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and operational tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand reporting needs and improve data accessibility.
