The Opportunity

• We are addressing a significant pain point within the $800B building product industry, a sector ripe for disruption driven by the urgent need for energy efficiency, the digital transformation of distributors, and rapid advancements in AI. Buildings account for 35% of emissions in North America and consume 40% of its energy—primarily through HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems. Yet the quoting process for these materials remains slow, manual, and error-prone, wasting millions in time and missed opportunities.
• To tackle this problem, we are developing HyperQuote, an AI-powered quoting platform that streamlines how building product distributors estimate, select, and source equipment and materials. This venture is already significantly de-risked: we have validated market demand with 40+ experts and customers, completed technical feasibility studies, and are actively developing real-world use cases with early adopters.
• As Co-Founder & CTO, you will have full ownership of the company’s growth and success. You’ll define and execute the product vision, build and inspire a high-caliber team, guide product direction, lead engineering efforts, and drive fundraising.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned entrepreneur ready for a new challenge.

• You have successfully built a company, product, or significant business unit from 0 to 1, with P&L ownership.
• You have a track record of hiring, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
• You have knowledge in the building product supply chain (e.g. HVAC, electrical) or construction industry (nice-to-have).
