Eastward Energy Incorporated is seeking an Operator, CNG to support the operation and maintenance of a 709kW CNG facility in Goffs, NS. You will monitor equipment, coordinate fuel deliveries, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift, on-call duties, and the ability to work in a field- and office-based environment with potential overtime and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Power Engineer Red Seal or a Compressor Plant Operator License.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to use a company vehicle while on-call.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to follow industry regulations and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and maintain safe operation of a 709kW CNG facility with 5 compressors.
• Respond to customer gas supply requirements and coordinate deliveries with transporters.
• Work a 24/7/365 rotating schedule with 12-hour day/night shifts and on-call rotation.
• Perform general facility maintenance, lawn care, and snow clearing as needed.
• Supervise sub-contractors and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
