Summary:

Under the direction of the CNC department head, the incumbent will provide overall support to CNC machinists and operators.

Job Terms:

Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

- Deliver prepared stock to the staging area and enter staging data into the electronic system
- Retrieve material from staging area and deliver to operators on demand
- Deliver finished details to manufacturing leaders
- Load and unload production components in automated cell
- Monitor chip bin levels and empty when required
- Maintain adequate levels for machine coolant
- Communicate with machinists to determine which material and tooling is required and deliver such
- General housekeeping of CNC department area (clean around machines and put tooling away)
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Experience working in tooling/manufacturing setting
- Valid forklift driver certification
- Blueprint reading skills is an asset
- Previous material handling skills is an asset
- Good attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision
