Our services include Precision Tool and Die Machining, Metal Technical Services, Consulting, 3D Design, Metal Stamping, TIG welding, waterjet cutting and more. As a technical support group, we assist customers with mechanical, machine, or Tool and Die related challenges.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a CNC Programmer with the potential for full time, located in Newmarket, ON. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines, troubleshooting, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring precision and efficiency. The role also involves interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools, and conducting quality checks on finished products as well as generating set up procedures.

Qualifications

  • Excellent technical aptitude of metal manufacturing
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and machine setup
  • Experience with 3D CAD design and interpretation of technical drawings
  • Knowledge of different materials and machining processes speeds and feeds
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to achieve high precision
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or training in CNC programming and machining
  • Experience with Precision Tool and Die Machining and GD&T is a plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
