Job summary

Magna International Limited in Markham, Ontario is seeking a CNC Operator to manage production equipment and support continuous improvement. The role requires CNC programming experience, precision inspection, and adherence to TS16949/ISO14001 standards.

You will train peers, document quality results, and ensure safety and orderly manufacturing processes in a dynamic team environment. The position is on-site with afternoon/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education with min 3 years CNC operating experience.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and functions.
• Experience with CNC lathes / machining processes / CNC programming.
• Strong English communication (verbal & written).
• Knowledge of TS16949, ISO 14001 and WHMIS.

Responsibilities

• Operate scheduled production equipment daily and meet targets.
• Perform part inspections using standard/advanced measuring equipment.
• Complete quality documentation per requirements.
• Train new operators and support TPM activities.
• Follow 5S and ISO procedures; maintain clean work area.
• Escalate issues to supervisor and stop line if unsafe.
